Newly elected President of Rana Samaj USA Bharat T. Rana acknowledged by New Jersey State Assembly. Bharat Rana president of Rana Samaj USA a nonprofit organization of over 6000 members, most of them were migrated from State of Gujarat.Bharat Rana was acknowledged by New Jersey State Assemblywoman Mrs. Rosy Bagolie and State Senator John McKean at Crystal Plaza Banquet hall in Livingston, New Jersey. Both New Jersey State Officials stated that, we jointly want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Rana for being elected president of Rana Samaj USA Inc. from 2025 to 2028! This achievement reflects his commitment to preserving Indian culture and providing essential services to the Indian American community in New Jersey. “Your hard work and dedication are an inspiration to our Clifton and Legislative District 27 community. We hope this accomplishment leads you and Rana Samaj USA Inc. to achieve even more amazing things in the years to come.” Once again, congratulations! Mr. Rana is also the current President of Indian American Senior’s Association of Clifton, and immediate past president of Federation of Indian American Senior’s Associations of North America, the largest umbrella organization, so called FISANA. As the former elected Commissioner of the Board of Education, former Commissioner of the Passaic Housing Authority, past President of Rana Samaj USA, for 9 successful years, a current Board of Trustees for the Boys and Girls Club of America, Clifton Chapter. and the I applied my vast experience and took the challenge and responsibility for the welfare and engagement of our Seniors in the community to take a more proactive role in various activities. We took the initiative to provide educational seminars, such as working on their supplemental Social Security income benefits, Medicare, Medicaid, creating a Living Will, immigration issues, and many more. I had an opportunity to bring the FISANA Delegate to present a memorandum to India’s Commerce Cabinet Minister, Mr. Piyush Gohel, urging the importance of providing a direct flight from Newark International Airport to Ahmedabad. We also met with Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhavat to discuss the water reservation issues in India. The FISANA organization was invited by the Consulate General’s office in New York to participate in various events hosted by the Consulate General’s Office, such as the book launch of “Deep Singh Sheed” by Hariharan Singh. FISANA also participated in the “Gujarat Maharashtra Divas” hosted by the Consulate General’s Office in New York. We were very fortunate to find great Volunteers, Committee Members, Donors, supporters, and well-wishers to help make our events a huge success. Mr. Bharat Rana stated “I would especially like to thank the Volunteers, Executive Committee Members, past Presidents, and Board of Trustees who have aided me in promoting the values and traditions of Indian American Community.I will also take this opportunity to thank my wife – Alka; my son – Ankit; my daughter-in-law – Ekta; my Daughter- Darshna; and my son-in-law – Shawn, for always supporting my efforts within this honorable organization. Last but surely not least, to those who have lost their loved ones, I send you my deepest condolences. My heart is sorrowful during these difficult times, and you all remain in my thoughts and prayers. I leave you with this final note: Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” I believe that our future generations are the torch-bearers of tomorrow. They carry our culture and values forward and bestow these core traditions onto future generations. The prosperity of our youth relies solely on the unsurpassed hard work, willful dedication, and undoubted responsibility of the numerous volunteers who have supported me to this day and modeled acts of selfless service to others.
